Kindness starts here.
At Be Kind Movement, we believe kindness is more than a value - it is a skill that can transform lives, relationships and communities.
What we do
We help children build emotional intelligence through kindness.
Through our Kindness in School Programme™, we use short films, discussion and interactive workshops to help young people understand their emotions, strengthen relationships and make positive choices.
Kindness
Kindness is a life skill. We help children understand how everyday words and actions can build empathy, respect and stronger relationships.
Emotional Intelligence
We give children practical tools to recognise emotions, manage challenges and respond with greater self-awareness and empathy.
Empower
Our workshops help young people build confidence, set boundaries, speak up and make thoughtful, responsible choices.
Inclusivity
We create learning experiences where every child can feel seen, respected and valued, while encouraging appreciation for different perspectives and experiences.
Integrity
We encourage children to act with honesty, fairness and courage — and hold ourselves to high standards of safeguarding, responsibility and care.
How we do it
Our 3Es Framework brings learning to life:
🎬 Entertain through the power of short films
📚 Educate on the value and impact of kindness
💪 Empower with emotional intelligence (EQ) skills
Why It Matters
Children are navigating growing pressures around relationships, social media, confidence and emotional wellbeing.
Our programme helps them:
manage emotions with greater confidence
build healthy, respectful relationships
navigate peer pressure and online interactions
develop empathy and self-awareness
make positive choices at school, at home and in their communities
Kindness isn’t just a value. It’s a life skill.
Mission
To develop children’s emotional intelligence through kindness, empowering them to navigate life’s challenges and make a positive impact on others.
Vision
A world where every child has the emotional skills and confidence to lead with kindness.
Founded in 2015, Be Kind Movement began with a simple idea: what if kindness could be taught just like maths or reading?
What started with a short film has grown into a UK-wide initiative using creative learning to inspire empathy, inclusion and courage in young people.
Our Story
Founded in 2015, Be Kind Movement began with a simple yet powerful idea: what if kindness could be taught, just like maths or reading? Inspired by personal experiences of bullying and a deep desire to change school culture, our founder Premila, set out to create something lasting.
What started as a short film has grown into a nationwide initiative, empowering children through the values of kindness and emotional intelligence. Today, our work continues to spark empathy, inclusion, and courage in classrooms across the UK.
