Kindness is a superpower

At Be Kind Movement, we know that kindness is a superpower. Small acts of kindness can create ripple effects that strengthen families and communities, and proactively practising kindness benefits our own mental health and happiness.

We also know that kindness is contagious. When adults model kind acts, children learn how to be kind too. This kindness practice helps develop emotional intelligence, which ultimately leads to greater wellbeing and resilience.

Join our campaign and be part of a movement that unlocks the power of kindness and inspires a new generation of kindness champions.

#KindnessUnlocked

About the challenge

Through our campaign, Kindness Unlocked™, we want to unlock the power of kindness to build more resilient, happier and kinder communities across the UK.

To celebrate World Kindness Day on Friday 13 November 2026, classes do one act of kindness together every school day for 10 days, from 13 to 26 November. Each day has its own value, from Courage to Caring.

For schools

Take part as a class, a club or the whole school. Upload one photo of your completed poster on behalf of your group and we’ll email a certificate to celebrate your achievement.

  2. Each school day, do that day’s act of kindness together and colour in one padlock.

  3. Share your kind acts using #KindnessUnlocked

  4. On Day 10, scan the QR code on the poster and upload one photo using the form below.

  5. Receive your class “Our Kindness Champions” certificate by email as a thank you!

Your class certificate

Every class that finishes gets its own “Our Kindness Champions” certificate, with your class name, school and number of pupils. It is emailed to you after you upload your poster photo, ready to print and put up in your classroom.
