About BE kind movement
Be Kind Movement was set up in 2015 to empower women and children with the gift of education.
Education that uplifts and transforms hearts and minds.
The charity addresses the ostensible gap in the knowledge, resources and skills of young girls and women by providing access to quality and affordable education. A myriad of channels including sponsorships, placements and mentoring serve to facilitate academic and hands-on learning that can lead to higher employability and sustainable positive impact.
Educating the hearts of young impressionable children is the need of the hour today. This means embedding, through the power of education, a culture of kindness, compassion and mindfulness that will resonate with children, parents, teachers and carers. Be Kind Movement’s Kindness in School programme is aimed at encouraging students to think about kindness for themselves and for others and the impact this could have on each other, the school, their families, and the community at large. The outreach programme is led by the award winning team deep:black, who’ve been working in London schools for over a decade championing a creative approach to emotional wellbeing.
Be Kind Movement’s purpose is to empower women and children with education by providing them with knowledge, resources and skills.
By providing financial and other non-material support we aim to achieve a sustainable change so that every woman and child can lead a dignified and fulfilling life contributing to the community and the economy, and to their well-being.
