One Kind Act Can Change Someone’s Life.
Many Such Acts Create A Movement

Kindness is more than a thoughtful gesture. It can shape how young people understand themselves, connect with others and respond to the challenges they face.

Be Kind Movement creates engaging educational experiences that help children and young people develop emotional intelligence, empathy and the interpersonal skills needed to thrive.

Kindness in School Programme

Our Kindness in School Programme™ uses film, discussion and experiential learning to introduce children and young people to 10 values of kindness.

The programme creates a safe and engaging environment in which pupils can reflect on emotions, relationships, behaviour and the impact their choices can have on others.

By embedding kindness into everyday school life, we aim to support personal development, emotional wellbeing and a more compassionate and inclusive school culture.

Be Kind Movement has worked with schools and young people to make kindness and emotional intelligence practical, engaging and memorable since 2015.

Every workshop represents an opportunity to help a young person develop skills and values that can stay with them for life.

Why Kindness Matters

Growing up brings emotional and social challenges. Developing emotional intelligence early helps children understand their feelings, build stronger relationships and respond to difficult situations with confidence.

Our programmes use kindness as a simple, powerful starting point showing young people how small actions can make a meaningful difference.

What People Say About Us

We’ve had some amazing feedback from our Kindness in School Programme (KISP) and experiential kindness workshops which have taken place across several schools. Listen to people's experiences of attending Be Kind Movement workshops and how our films reach people on an emotional level.

About Us

Be Kind Movement was established in 2015 and is led by film producer Premila Puri.

Our work brings together education, film and experiential learning to help children and young people understand and practise the values that underpin kindness.

At the heart of our work is the belief that emotional intelligence and kindness should be nurtured early giving young people the tools to build positive relationships, strengthen their wellbeing and contribute to more supportive communities.

Made Possible by Our Generous Supporters

Our work is made possible by charitable funders, partners and individuals who share our belief in the power of kindness.

Every contribution helps us reach more children, support more schools and create more opportunities for young people to develop emotional intelligence and essential life skills.
